"I'm a simple down-to-earth guy". hahahaha. Well, maybe not. I'm a complex intelligent person with a wide variety of interests.
I like hiking, camping, outdoors, working out. I absolutely love caves. Carlsbad Caverns is one of my favorite places of all time. I've been spelunking, skydiving, scuba-diving, parasailing, rock-climbing, skiing (I'm OK, not great), snowboarding. Havasupai, an American Indian reservation at the bottom of the Grand Canyon, is another favorite place. And of course Yosemite, in winter. I enjoy Disneyland. Anything with lots to see, and environments to enjoy. The busy bustle of cities, or the quiet simpleness of a small town, the serene silence of a forest, the whistle of the wind across the wide open desert as the moon stares down. Along with all that, I love to travel. I've traveled quite a bit, mostly with work, to too many small towns across the United States to even count. Work travel though isn't as fun and exciting, you don't always have time to see things, your there for a purpose. Nonetheless, I've also enjoyed London, Kobe, Kyoto, New Orleans, Baltimore, Mauii, Washington DC, Orlando, Phoenix, Chicago, and pretty much everywhere in California.
I like puzzles, I love to read, repeat that love to read. Mostly fantasy and science fiction, but occasionally other books will also grab an interest. I love to play games of all sort. I like the simple applications of luck, to watch the possibilities play out. I like the challenge of a game of strategy and skill, the interplay of intellects by strict application of rules. I like the measuring, the bluffs. I like the acting, the various adopted persona's, the social interactions, the imagination, and the infinite possibilities of a role-playing game. I just love to game.
